Susannah’s Watch B&B Sausage & Pepper Quiche

Pie Crust – 9″

Half & Half – 1/4 cup

Stauffer’s Butcher Barn Sausage – 1/2 cup pre-cooked loose

Diced Sweet Red Bell Pepper – 1 cup pre-cooked and drained

Eggs – 3 large eggs

Smoked Gouda Cheese – 1 cup shredded

Salt and Pepper – Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Preheat oven to 375

Spray pie pan with cooking spray, and place pie dough in pan

Scramble eggs well and add half and half, set aside

Place pre-cooked sausage onto pie dough, spread evenly

Spoon in diced red pepper over the sausage, spread evenly

Add the shredded cheese, spread evenly

Pour scrambled eggs and half and half over the cheese, peppers, and sausage

Add salt and pepper to taste

Bake until eggs are set, and cheese is completely melted. Edges of the pie dough should be golden brown. Remove from the oven and set aside for 10 minutes. Slice and serve hot.
